How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Summary: In a fast paced environment, the Metrology Specialist will manage all aspects of metrology for the ALAM US sites as well as provide technical insights, leadership and project management for metrology projects.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the subject matter expert responsible for the metrology program at new and existing sites.
Manage equipment long-term stability such as instrument calibrations and performance verifications.
Manage and perform metrology studies including instrument detection limit, method detection limit, accuracy, linearity, tool matching and GR&R.
Utilize advanced problem solving techniques and expert knowledge to identify, investigate, eliminate and prevent metrology excursions.
Work closely with the R&D team to ensure metrology methods evolve to fulfill customer and internal requirements as products scale from small volume to high volume manufacturing.
Work closely with the R&D team to develop best known methods to characterize emerging semiconductor precursors for qualitative and quantitative analysis of impurities and assay.
Ensure standard operating procedures for analytical instrumentation are documented, accurate, and revised as needed.
Ensure in conjunction with Quality Assurance that analytical instrumentation and methods used for qualification of product for customers have been qualified prior to use.
Lead the Management of Change process when required for QC labs.
Write White Papers, and provide data to Quality Assurance for processing and review.

Required Qualifications: Desired professional experience, educational level, qualifications, core skills, certificates, licenses etc. This should also include expectations in terms of schedule, travel and physical requirements for roles such as technician roles.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or higher or 10+ years experience in Quality Control
3+ years working in a laboratory environment
3+ years hands-on experience running analytical instruments
3+ years experience with GC instruments
Advanced problem solving techniques
Expected to travel to sites as business needs dictate. Travel could be 25 to 50% during the project commissioning phase and based on the scale and location of the project.
Preferred Qualifications: Not essential to the job but enhances a candidate's ability to perform the job.
Knowledge of analytical techniques used for characterization of trace impurities in chemicals.
Expertise in the development of methods in GC and FTIR
