About the Job

This role will focus on driving customer retention initiatives. This role involves managing email marketing campaigns through Klaviyo, SMS marketing via Attentive, and subscription services using Recharge.

Responsibilities

Email + SMS Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives utilizing data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead strategy to achieve engagement and financial goals for all email, SMS and other future-state retention marketing channels.
  • Utilize analytics to understand customer needs and preferences, tailoring strategies across email, SMS, onsite and other channels.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and targeted communication.
  • Concepting, testing and deploying email and SMS campaigns.
  • Maintenance of the Email and SMS database, deliverability, integrity of the file growth and churn.
  • Provide regular reports and insights, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in CRM, personalization, and customer engagement, recommending improvements and innovations.

Subscription Management:

  • Oversee subscription program management, including handling subscription platform related customer needs and issues.
  • Provide regular reports and insights, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Continuously monitor program performance and make recommendations for program enhancements to increase customer retention and LTV.

CRM + Customer Analytics:

  • Utilize Shopify, GA4, and Recharge to map and monitor our customer journey pre- and post-purchase, identifying cohorts and experiences that can increase LTV or decrease CAC.
  • Create and manage segments in Klaviyo CRM to monitor the engagement activity of our most important customer cohorts.
  • Support brand or revenue building initiatives (e.g. customer surveys, event invitations, bespoke promotion or gifting opportunities) by identifying appropriate cohorts and contact information, and monitoring their engagement rates within such initiatives.

Shopify Management (Nice to have):

  • Manage and optimize our Shopify platform to drive sales and enhance user experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
  • Lead e-commerce projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, generate reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends, best practices, and technologies to propose new initiatives and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in customer retention strategies.
  • Proficiency with Klaviyo, Attentive, Recharge, and GA4.
  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
