About the Role

As the Sales & Trade Marketing Senior Manager at Act+Acre, you will play a critical role in driving growth across Sephora and additional retail channels. This is a highly cross-functional role focused on developing and executing strategic trade marketing initiatives that elevate brand visibility, enhance in-store experience, and maximize sell-through. You will work closely with our Creative, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver innovative retail programs that reflect Act+Acre’s clean, elevated, and performance-driven ethos. This is a hybrid role based in our New York City office, with in-office presence required Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute tailored trade marketing strategies across Sephora and additional retail partners, focusing on merchandising, sampling, events, and promotional activations.
  • Create and lead omnichannel launch plans that align with brand priorities and retailer calendars.
  • Partner closely with Creative and Sales to develop compelling retailer assets, visual merchandising displays, and custom content to support product storytelling and education.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of materials, smooth retailer communication, and seamless alignment with broader brand marketing.
  • Oversee all aspects of Sephora trade programming, including retail events, GWPs, sampling strategy, in-store animations, and digital initiatives.
  • Maintain and communicate comprehensive retailer marketing calendars to align cross-functional teams and ensure coordinated efforts across channels.
  • Analyze trade marketing performance to assess effectiveness and inform future strategy; provide actionable insights to drive continual optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on SKU setup, retailer portal management, and the development of promotional tools and field training assets.
  • Lead planning and execution of retail events and brand moments across key markets.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spend and accurate tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in trade or retail marketing, ideally within beauty, wellness, or lifestyle categories.
  • Deep understanding of the Sephora ecosystem; experience working with other prestige retailers is a strong plus.
  • Strong grasp of consumer and retailer dynamics across omnichannel environments.
  • Excellent project management skills with a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and external partners.
  • Highly proficient in Google Workspace, and project management platforms (e.g., Asana); experience with Slack preferred.
