We are looking for Restaurant Server to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.
Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.
Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the general guidance of the Assistant Bar Manager, the Restaurant Server assist in ensuring friendly, efficient and effective service of food and beverages to all guests in a timely fashion in accordance with standards and individual guest requirements, at all times respecting the company’s Core Values.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Present menus and inform guests about daily specials, assisting them in making informed dining choices.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Clear and clean tables after guests depart, preparing them for the next seating.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
- Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.
- Uphold the restaurant's standards for service quality, appearance, and guest experience.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
