Job Description

The Revenue Analyst supports the hotel’s commercial strategy by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution. This role assists the Revenue Manager in developing tactical and strategic decisions that maximize revenue across all business segments for Raffles & Doha.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Revenue Manager in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and performance reviews.
  • Participate in the development and execution of pricing and yield strategies.
  • Contribute to the analysis of market trends, booking patterns, competitor performance, and demand drivers.
  • Maintain and update forecasting models for rooms, F&B, and other revenue streams as requested.
  • Ensure data accuracy across RMS, PMS, GDS, and channel management platforms.
  • Monitor pickup, pace, and segmentation performance, highlighting risks or opportunities to the Revenue Manager.
  • Generate dashboards and insight-driven summaries for senior leadership.
  • Inventory, Pricing & Distribution
  • Manage daily rate loading, restrictions, and inventory controls across all distribution channels, following direction from the Revenue Manager.
  • Conduct rate parity checks to ensure consistency across OTAs and brand channels.
  • Assist in optimizing channel mix and reducing distribution costs.
  • Support the Revenue Manager in the maintenance of all revenue-related systems, including RMS, channel manager, and forecasting tools.
  • Assist with system configuration updates, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Document processes and maintain standard operating procedures for the department.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Front Office to ensure alignment with the revenue strategy.
  • Attend commercial meetings and present insights on performance, trends, and forecast updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Previous experience in revenue management, reservations, data analysis, or hospitality operations preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and revenue management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
