Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Greet children and families warmly, creating a friendly and comfortable environment from the moment they arrive
- Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians, providing updates on activities and ensuring confidence in the care provided
- Personalize interactions and remain attentive to each child’s individual needs, preferences, and safety requirements
- Plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate recreational, creative, and educational activities such as arts & crafts, storytelling, interactive games, and cultural experiences inspired by Qatar and the Raffles & Fairmont brand
- Assist in developing seasonal or themed kids programs and special events
- Ensure all activities support the hotels' commitment to enriching guest experiences
- Maintain constant supervision of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to club rules
- Follow emergency procedures and respond calmly and effectively to any incidents or concerns
- Ensure secure check-in and check-out procedures are strictly followed
- Prepare activity materials and maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting Kids Club environment at all times
- Ensure equipment, toys, and facilities are sanitized and in good working order
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor
- Collaborate with colleagues and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service
- Attend trainings, briefings, and ongoing development sessions as required
- Uphold brand service standards, grooming guidelines, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, hospitality, recreation, or early childhood education is preferred
- Warm, patient, and engaging personality with a passion for working with children
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with guests of diverse backgrounds
- Creative, energetic, and capable of leading group activities
- Ability to remain attentive and responsible in a fast-paced environment
- Basic first aid or CPR certification is an advantage
- English required; additional languages are a plus
