Job Description
As Bar Team Leader at Peppers Marysville, you’ll lead the bar team in creating memorable moments for our guests by delivering exceptional service in a stunning, riverside setting. Whether you’re crafting cocktails or recommending a local Yarra Valley wine, you’ll play a key role in elevating the overall guest experience while guiding and supporting your team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding service and maintain a high-energy atmosphere
- Greet and welcome guests, offering expert recommendations to enhance their experience
- Take orders and serve drinks efficiently, ensuring smooth and timely service
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and inviting bar environment at all times
- Support the hosting of events and functions, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere
- Oversee all bartending duties, including inventory management and cash handling, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- A friendly, approachable attitude with a guest-focused mindset
- Strong knowledge of beverages including, cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles
- A positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
