Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Reception Supervisor to join our team in the historic city of AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you will lead and inspire our reception team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in this unique cultural destination.
- Oversee daily reception operations, ensuring consistent service standards and a warm, engaging approach
- Lead and mentor the reception team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries efficiently, providing personalized service
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly
- Implement and maintain front desk procedures to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback, implementing improvements to enhance the overall experience
- Manage shift schedules and assignments to ensure adequate staffing at all times
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate priorities and performance expectations
- Stay informed about local attractions and events in AlUla to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural sensitivities
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or team leader experience in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Proficiency in hotel management systems, preferably Opera Cloud or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage shifts with confidence
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and genuine passion for hospitality
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Customer service expertise with a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Effective conflict resolution skills to handle challenging situations professionally
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian culture and customs, particularly those relevant to AlUla
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Additional Information
