Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Housekeeping Manager to join our team in the historic city of AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout our property while leading and motivating a diverse housekeeping team.

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas meet or exceed cleanliness standards
  • Develop and implement efficient cleaning procedures and schedules
  • Manage, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring cost-effective stock control
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, focusing on cost control and efficiency
  • Implement and maintain safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with local regulations
  • Continuously seek ways to improve operations and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural sensitivities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office suite
  • Outstanding communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and local health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in luxury or heritage hospitality settings preferred
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to local cultural norms and practices

Additional Information

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
