Job Description
Housekeeping Supervisor
At Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, we believe great hospitality starts with our people. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll lead the team to uphold high operational and cleanliness standards while driving performance and development across the department.
This is a part-time role requiring early starts and weekend availability.

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll take ownership of shift operations and team performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Allocating daily room assignments and team tasks
- Conducting inspections to ensure operational standards are met
- Managing on-site laundry and ensuring cost-effective linen use
- Coordinating room readiness with Front Office and Maintenance
- Assisting with efficient roster planning to meet operational needs
- Training and coaching team members to meet quality and efficiency goals
- Monitoring supply use and maintaining stock levels within budget
- Leading by example in safety, grooming standards, and professional conduct
- Supporting a performance-focused, inclusive team culture
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in hotel housekeeping or similar facilities operations
- Confident in leading a small teams and driving accountability
- Organised, reliable, and solution-focused
- Comfortable with physical aspects of housekeeping work
- Familiar with basic computer systems
- Flexible with availability across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
